How I created my Sex Pots

One day, I felt like combining my drawing and my ceramics. I had already done many sculptures – as I did my BA in Sculpture at Hornsey Art College.

So I began to use slip to draw inside 6 large bowls, then inside a few Millefiori bowls.  Later, I saw some of Gauguin’s pots which had figures in or affiliated to them, and decided to sculpt some of my own. I loved doing them – I might make some more!
